Seven months into his reign as a European fund manager, former Schroder Tokyo manager Denis Clough has achieved top quartile returns, albeit after a rocky start on the portfolio. Schroder European is ranked 21 out of 97 funds in the European sector over the three months to 5 June based on bid to bid returns according to S&P figures. However, over the past 12 months the fund is less strong returning 22.7% against the sector average of 27.8% ranking 79 out of 94 funds.
