Have you noticed that despite recent shake-ups at SVM, the performance on the group's open-ended funds seems to have remained intact? While the group admits the portfolios have largely been unchanged since the managers of UK Opportunities, UK Select 100 and Continental European left the group late last year, the new managers on the funds are maintaining above average performance on the vehicles.
The performance of SVM’s UK funds and its European vehicle do not appear to have suffered since the departure of their respective fund managers. While the departure of five managers from the Scottish boutique in a total of five months has the industry talking, SVM founder and fund manager Colin McLean seems to have held the ship together.
