European smaller companies have taken a hit over the past few months with funds in the Europe ex UK sector feeling the pinch. However the Insight Investment European Small Cap fund appears to be weathering the bumps better than some of its peers. The fund has regained some ground after languishing at the bottom of the sector over three years to 12 June, where it is ranked 13 of 13, according to Standard & Poor’s.
