Two investment trusts are celebrating their 80th anniversary this week and despite both having had a bad 12 months, an investment held in either the Temple Bar Investment Trust or Finsbury Growth & Income Trust would have at least doubled if held for the past three years. For the 12 months to 24 April the Finsbury Growth & Income and Temple Bar investment trusts ranked 22 and 28 respectively out of 31 funds in the investment trust UK Growth and Income sector.
