Main proposals from ‘Personal accounts: a new way to save’, the second Government pension white paper published on December 12. • Government will adopt the Turner Commission's centrally administered model for the proposed system of personal accounts. • Workers automatically enrolled into the National Pension Savings Scheme, with plans to automatically enrol up to 10 million people into personal accounts.The employee would contribute four per cent of their earnings which would be matched by a minimum employee contribution of three per cent and one per cent tax relief from the Government....
