Investment Week has learnt that the European team at Legal & General, headed by former Axa manager Alia Baig, has left the group by mutual agreement after failing to turn around performance of the fund within three years. The entire four-strong team, which included Adam Holmes, Maana Ruia and Keith Ellam has now left the group. Ellam is understood to have resigned.
