Net retail investment sales for July 2006 fell by £225m compared to July last year marking a decline of over 25%, according to the IMA. This July, net retail sales hit £654m, compared to £879m for the same period in 2005. While net Isa sales for the period increased from £69m in July last year to £125m this year, the increase could not halt the fall in total net retail unit trust and Oeic sales for the period, which fell to £654.1m from £878.7m in July last year.
