AIC reveals latest trust 'Dividend Heroes' with at least 20 years of consecutive dividend increases

2018 marks 150 years of investment trusts

The Invesco Income Growth trust has been named the Association of Investment Companies' (AIC) 21st 'Dividend Hero' having increased its dividend for the 20th consecutive year.

Managed by Ciaran Mallon, the UK equity income trust had a dividend yield of 4.1% as of 28 February 2018, according to the AIC. Mallon said: "I recognise this reliable and growing income stream is a key attraction of the company and the regular dividend stream is highly valued by shareholders."
