Globalisation has come a long way fast, and many of the factors driving local inflation are now global in nature. But where will they go from here?

From just a third of the world's population in 1985, more than 98% of all people have lived in a capitalist society since 2005, according to the Fraser Institute's Economic Freedom Index. Meanwhile, tariffs on imported goods have plunged - by more than half in the developed world and by over two thirds in developing countries.
