Tilney Bestinvest reveals model allocation for new Advanced Passive portfolio range

Tilney Bestinvest has revealed the preliminary model asset allocation for its IFSL Advanced Passive portfolios, launched on 1 February for CIO Gareth Lewis and director of investment strategy Ben Seager-Scott.

The five risk-rated multi-asset portfolios combine an active approach to asset allocation with investments in various passive vehicles, including advanced passive, or smart beta, strategies, ETFs and low-cost trackers. For some alternative strategies, the managers will allocate to actively-managed funds, such as SLI's GARS, as there is not enough choice of these types of strategies in the passive space. The new offering targets financial advisers and their clients and each portfolio will have an AMC of 65bps, with the OCF capped at 1%. The minimum investment is £1,000. Could the pa...
