Baillie Gifford has managed the Scottish American Investment Company (Saints), since January 2004, winning the mandate from First State Investments. The trust, which invests in a broad range of assets in the UK and internationally, is headed by Patrick Edwardson, who joined Baillie Gifford on graduating from City University in 1993.
