Despite never topping sector in any discrete year, Aled Smith's portfolio doubled sector average over three years
Funds in the North America sector have seen their performance drop in recent months as a result of the fall in global equity markets. That said stock-specific ideas have helped certain funds weather the storm. For the 70 funds in the peer group, cumulative bid to bid performance over the three years to the end of June ranges from 3.76% to 38.83%, with 13 new offerings launched within the past three years.
