This has been another milestone week for investors in the former Woodford Equity Income fund, who have been offered slightly more certainty than they had this time last Friday.

On Monday, it was confirmed the Waystone deal had been completed, with Link Fund Solutions now falling under the Waystone Management UK brand. This also means one of the key components of the potential compensation package is guaranteed, as the proceeds of the sale will be put towards the Scheme of Arrangement. Speaking of the scheme, I became rather familiar with the business and property courts of England and Wales this week, as the first hearing spanned a couple of days.
