Trio of directors retire from Asia Dragon trust following merger with abrdn New Dawn

Charlie Ricketts, Donald Workman and Gaynor Coley have retired from the board of Asia Dragon trust (DGN), six months after its recent merger with abrdn New Dawn investment trust (ABD).

The retirements were revealed in a circular in September 2023, and today (9 May) the trust said it "would like to take this opportunity to reiterate its sincere thanks to Charlie, Gaynor and Donald for their significant and valued contributions to the company". Ashoka WhiteOak Emerging Markets proposes merger with Asia Dragon Ricketts joined DGN in April 2016, serving as a senior independent non-executive director and remuneration committee chairman for the past eight years.
