Sarah MacAulay, chair of Schroder Asian Total Return and JP Morgan Multi-Asset Growth & Income, has joined the board of the Baillie Gifford China Growth trust as a non-executive director.

MacAulay joins as current chair Susan Platts-Martin is set to retire from the trust at the end of April, after a decade as a member of the board and seven years at the helm. It is currently unknown who will replace Platts-Martin as chair. "My fellow directors and I are delighted to welcome Sarah to the board.
