Swiss Life Asset Managers UK chair to step down

Swiss Life Asset Managers UK chair and former CEO James Thornton is set to leave the business on 30 April.

Thornton co-founded Mayfair Capital Investment Management in 2002, which was acquired by the firm in 2016 and rebranded to Swiss Life Asset Managers UK in May 2023. He served as CEO from 2002 until 2021. The firm said a successor will be announced "in due course".
