Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management has hired Brown Shipley’s head of private banking Elizabeth Weir.

Weir will become head of UK domestic, effective from 6 June. She will be responsible for driving commercial success and delivery of the firm's UK domestic strategy. She will be based in London and report to head of private bank wealth management for the UK and crown dependencies Annabelle Bryde.
