One Four Nine hires Jasper Berens as non-executive director

One Four Nine has appointed fund management veteran Jasper Berens to the board of its fund management division, in the role of independent non-executive director.

Berens has a career spanning 28 years in the fund management industry, having previously held positions at JP Morgan AM, Artemis IM and Stratevolve. In his role as non-executive director, Berens will advise on issues relevant to the firm's growth plans. He will also have a seat on One Four Nine's Portfolio Monitoring Steering Group and Investment Governance. He currently serves as head of client relationships and distribution for CCLA, where he is leading the firm's move into the intermediary market.
