Lazard hires Robert Wall to build sustainable private infrastructure strategy

Lazard Asset Management (LAM) has hired Robert Wall as managing director and head of sustainable private infrastructure, as the firm expands its global alternatives investment platform.

Wall will join the firm in October and will build a team to manage a sustainable investment strategy focused on private infrastructure companies, which is expected to be made available to clients globally. Ashish Bhutani, chief executive officer at LAM, said: "Clients are increasingly looking for investments that provide diversified returns and that have demonstrable benefits to society in line with a more sustainable world.
