Robeco boosts trends and thematic team with portfolio manager appointments

Plans to expand team’s research resources

Robeco has appointed Michiel van Voorst and Koos Burema as co-portfolio managers on the Robeco Global FinTech Equities and New World Financial Equities funds, as it strengthens its trends and thematic team.

Van Voorst and Burema will join the team on 1 March 2020, and will be responsible for the two funds together with Patrick Lemmens, who is set to remain as lead portfolio manager. Three members of Robeco's thematic equities team moved to Lombard Odier Investment Managers in January, including Jeroen van Oerle who had been portfolio manager of the Global FinTech Equities fund since inception.
