Lyxor launches yield curve ETFs

Allow investors to play US and German yield curves

Lyxor on Tuesday listed an exchange traded fund (ETF) based on the US yield curve in London, adding to a similar offering it launched in early August.

The Lyxor US Curve Flattening 2-10 UCITS ETF, aimed at professional investors, allows them to potentially profit from a flattening of the US two-year/10-year yield curve. The firm had launched the Lyxor US Curve Steepening 2-10 UCITS ETF last month, which allows investors to potentially profit from a steepening of the US two-year/10-year yield curve. Additionally, Lyxor has launched a similar pair of ETFs based on the German two-year/10-year bund yield curve. The Lyxor EUR Curve Steepening 2-10 UCITS ETF and the Lyxor EUR Curve Flattening 2-10 UCITS ETF listed on Euronext on Tuesday. ...
