Marlborough Group has appointed Nick French as head of business development for multi-asset and wealth management, a newly created role.

The role has been created to "drive growth for the group's multi-asset funds and managed portfolio service…while also helping to develop the proposition in these areas of business," according to a spokesperson.  French, whose investment career spans more than 20 years, spent more than a decade as managing director and head of UK wealth management at Russell Investments, before leaving in March 2018 to establish his own business consultancy launching online tools for financial advisers.
