This is the time of year that economists start to do some navel gazing and contemplate the outlook for the year ahead. A word we can expect to hear more over the next few months is ‘decoupling'. In truth, there has been increasing divergence in economic performance for a few years. However, it looks set to become more obvious during 2015.
