Although hardly a revelation, the unpopularity of with-profits was reinforced once again last week with Aifa research showing 90% of advisers are no longer recommending the product to new clients. Even more worryingly, only half of intermediaries are advising clients to continue making regular contributions to their existing funds, which suggests a flood of cash may be exiting with-profits in the near future.
