Aviva Investors plans Mount Toubkal climb for CASCAID
Intrepid team to scale Atlas Mountains for charity

Aviva Investors' head of UK wholesale Jeremy Leadsom is leading an expedition to climb a combined 83,300 metres to the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains to raise funds for industry charity group CASCAID.

Setting off on 18 May are Ben Carter, Tom Wells, Iain Buckle, Phil Lambert, Derek Walker, Heather Jackson, Greg Clark, Paul Rasbach, Mark Young, Judith Shaw, Paras Shah, David Butler, James Moore, Ross Ford, Barry Haddingham, and Simon, Paddy and Johnny Leadsom.

"We are incredibly excited to be able to raise money by tackling the highest mountain in North Africa," Leadsom said.
The Aviva Investors team has so far raised around 56% of its £25,000 target.
"CASCAID is a great cause and it is superb that so many people in our industry are coming together to support it in many different ways," Leadsom added.
"Via CASCAID, we are raising money for Great Ormand Street Hospital (GOSH) and SUDEP UK, which seeks to raise awareness about epilepsy.
"This is particularly poignant because an Aviva Investors colleague lost his 22-year-old daughter, Maisie, to epilepsy in January."
CASCAID is an asset management industry-wide initiative to raise over £2m for charity in 2019.
