Janus Henderson Investors has hired Alex Barr from Aberdeen Standard Investment Management to its UK multi-asset and alternatives team based in London.

Joining the group in July, he will co-manage a number of its multi-asset alternatives funds, including the Henderson Alternative Strategies trust, alongside James de Bunsen and Peter Webster. At Aberdeen Standard Investment Management, Barr was global head of private markets and real estate investment oversight. He has 26 years of experience in financial markets, specialising in alternative assets, and has also previously held the role of head of private equity at Aberdeen Asset Management and lead manager of the Aberdeen Private Equity fund.  The Top Down: Janus Henderson's de Bun...
