BMO Real Estate Partners (REP) has appointed Emma Gullifer as assistant fund manager within its UK property fund team.
Gullifer will be based in London in her new role with BMO REP, which is a part of BMO Financial Group's global asset management business (BMO GAM).
She will be responsible for the management and review of new acquisitions of the flagship £550m BMO UK Property fund, and will report to lead manager Guy Glover.
Gullifer will also be actively involved in client liaisons and the ongoing marketing of the fund, which has steadily grown over the past eight years and boasts of a diversified portfolio of over 50 holdings across the UK.
Gullifer joins from DTZ Investors, where her most recent role was assistant portfolio manager, working across two discretionary balanced UK property pension mandates and a non-discretionary mandate specialising in UK Offices.
Her key responsibilities included carrying out transactions and ongoing asset management initiatives, as well as contributing towards the creation of fund strategies.
Guy Glover, manager of the BMO UK Property fund, said: "Given Emma's cross-sector expertise combined with demonstrable fund management experience, we are confident that she will be a valuable addition to the team.
"We are very pleased to welcome Emma on board and look forward to benefiting from her insights and capabilities as we aim to continue delivering on our strategy going forward."
Over three years to 8 February, the fund is up 12.2%, slightly behind its Investment Association UK Direct Property sector average return of 12.8%, according to FE.
