AXA Investment Managers has hired Xavier Lattaignant as head of the convertible bonds strategy from SCOR Investment Partners.
Along with leading the convertible bonds strategy, Lattaignant will also co-manage the €926m AXA World Funds Framlington Global Convertibles fund with Alexandre Fade.
Effective 4 March, he will report to Matthew Lovatt, global head of Framlington equities at AXA IM.
Lattaignant spent eight years at SCOR Investment Partners, most recently as head of equities and convertible bonds funds.
Prior to this he was head of alternative investments at THEAM. He started his career at Lyxor Asset Management as a hedge fund analyst in 1999.
Last December, the firm made a number of changes to its leadership team following the implementation of its new organisation in June.
This included Francisco Arcilla (global head of sales) and Bettina Ducat (global head of product, retail and institutional development) who were respectively appointed global head of institutional client group and global head of distribution client group.
