Pictet announces change in partnership ahead of senior partner's retirement

Nicolas Pictet to step down in September

Pictet has announced the forthcoming retirement of Nicolas Pictet from the group with effect from 1 September.

Pictet has been senior partner of the Pictet Group since 1991, and will be succeeded by Renaud de Planta, who joined Pictet as a partner in 1998. De Planta is the second most senior of Pictet's seven partners. He has spent much of his career at Pictet building and leading Pictet Asset Management, which now accounts for almost half of the group's assets under management and profits.
