Schroders launches new fund on GAIA platform

Schroders has launched a multi-strategy alternatives fund on its GAIA platform to be run by former hedge fund manager Robert Donald.

The Schroder GAIA Helix fund will provide investors with access to a blend of the firm's alpha-generating strategies and has been designed for investors looking for exposure to highly-liquid, multi-strategy alternative funds.  Alternatives market to grow by $2.5trn in next three years It will aim to deliver returns with low market correlations and will include long/short and long-only alpha equity strategies as well as being diversified across credit, fixed income and FX asset classes.  Donald joined Schroders last January from hedge fund Brummer & Partners where he had been a port...
