SSGA hires STOXX CEO to head up EMEA ETF business

State Street Global Advisors has appointed Matteo Andreetto as senior managing director and head of the SPDR ETF business for Europe, Middle East and Africa [EMEA].

Andreetto will lead the development and execution of SPDR's ETF business strategy in EMEA with immediate effect, reporting to Rory Tobin, global head of State Street Global Advisors' SPDR ETF business. Based in London, Andreetto will also head up the ETF sales teams, overseeing product development, marketing, capital markets and infrastructure.
