DWS hires Hartwig Kos from SYZ AM

DWS, formerly Deutsche Asset Management, has hired SYZ Asset Management's co-head of multi-asset & vice CIO Hartwig Kos.

Based in Frankfurt, Kos will join as a multi-asset portfolio manager, reporting to Christian Hille, global head of multi-asset & solutions at DWS. Prior to joining SYZ in 2015, he held a variety of roles at Barings Asset Management over a ten-year period, most recently as investment director of its global multi-asset team. Kos will join DWS in January 2019. In December 2017, the firm rebranded to DWS ahead of its initial public offering (IPO), which occurred in March.
