Buxton hires trio for newly-separated OMGI

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI, Richard Buxton's firm which is set to rebrand to Merian Global Investors) has made three new hires on the UK equity and fixed income desks.

In its first spate of hires since separating from the multi-asset part of the business, the company has recruited Claudia Ho, Patty Cao and Przemyslaw Pietraszek.  Ho joins from Pelham Capital, where she was an equity analyst, and joins OMGI as a UK equity analyst on the small and mid-cap team. She is responsible for research and production of investment views on specific sectors, reporting to head of UK small and mid-caps Dan Nickols.
