Stuart Cox to take over Global Managed fund

Stephen Mitchell, head of strategy for global equities and manager of the £307m Jupiter Global Managed fund, has left the firm.

Mitchell joined Jupiter in March 2015 after running global income and growth investments for Caledonia Investments, where he was also a member of their investment committee. He has managed the group's Global Managed fund since then, applying a greater emphasis on dividends and dividend growth to drive potential returns when he took over. Stuart Cox, who has been working with Mitchell since joining the company three years ago, will take over full responsibility of the fund on an interim basis.
