Which trusts are most consistent outperformers over a decade?

Seven out of the top 20 most consistently outperforming trusts over the last ten years have a UK-focused mandate, according to recent research from the Association of Investment Companies (AIC).

The top performer for a second year in a row is the £209m Lindsell Train investment trust, which is managed by Michael Lindsell and Nick Train, running a global portfolio of stocks. Train also takes second place with his £1.4bn Finsbury Growth & Income trust, which sits in the UK Equity Income sector, while six other UK-centric trusts also made the top 20.
