Artemis has announced the hire of Jasper Berens as head of distribution, replacing Dick Turpin who will be retiring at the end of the year, Investment Week can reveal.

Berens left his post as head of UK funds at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in February "to pursue other opportunities" after working at the group for 20 years. He will join Artemis in October taking over from Turpin, who is head of asset gathering, ahead of his retirement at the end of the year.
