Franklin Templeton launches absolute return bond fund to UK investors

Franklin Templeton Investments has launched an absolute return fund offering UK investors access to its $900m flexible alpha bond strategy, previously only available through US- and Luxembourg-registered funds.

The Franklin Absolute Return Bond fund, a sub-fund of the firm's UK-registered OEIC, will be managed by senior vice presidents of the Franklin Templeton Fixed Income Group David Yuen and Michael Materasso.
