HANetf has appointed Deutsche Asset Management's David Patterson as director, UK & Ireland sales.
Reporting to Hector McNeil, co-CEO of HANetf, Patterson will be responsible for promoting and selling funds on the firm's platform to UK and Irish clients.
He brings over ten years' experience in ETF distribution, most recently at Deutsche AM where he was head of UK wholesale distribution, responsible for developing the UK coverage of ETPs and strategic-beta funds.
He has also held senior sales and distribution roles at Mellon Global Investments, Newton Fund Managers, Save & Prosper Group, Sun Life Trust and Manulife Management.
McNeil said: "HANetf is putting in place a formidable distribution team, which David will significantly enhance.
"The UK and Ireland will be core markets for HANetf as asset managers, financial advisers, wealth managers, private banks and brokerages across the region increase their adoption and use of ETFs.
"David's considerable knowledge of the marketplace and understanding of investor needs adds to HANetf's already powerful offering, reinforcing our unique proposition which combines a best-in-class ETF white-label platform with sophisticated distribution, sales and marketing services for clients."
‘White label' platform HANetf was launched in August last year by McNeil and co-CEO Nik Bienkowski and is designed to provide a one-stop-shop for asset managers looking to bring an ETF range to Europe.
Last month, the firm hired Source's Jason Griffin as director, capital and markets and business development and FTSE Russell's Simon Mott as director of marketing.
