Update: The Investment Company appoints former Miton chairman to board months after booting Miton as manager

The £16m Investment Company trust has made further senior changes including the appointment of Miton's former chairman to its board, just months after it revoked management responsibilities from Miton's Gervais Williams and Martin Turner.

Chairman Sir David Thomson has retired from the board along with directors Peter Allen and Stephen Cockburn. Meanwhile, Ian Dighé, who retired as chairman of Miton at the end of last year, joins the board as non-executive chairman and Tim Metcalfe has been appointed as non-executive director. Following these changes, the board now consists of Dighé, Metcalfe and Fiske board member Martin Perrin.
