Schroders expands public policy team to oversee EU developments

Ottawa joins in March

Schroders has appointed Elisabeth Ottawa as deputy head of public policy to build the firm's profile within the European asset management sector and as "a champion of the single market".

Ottawa will join Schroders in March, reporting to head of public policy Sheila Nicoll. Based in Brussels, she will focus on European and international public policy. Ottawa, who was previously head of EU liaison office at Raiffeisen Bank International, has also held posts as a financial attaché in the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU from 2011 to 2014, and as a senior expert at the Austrian Ministry of Finance from 2002 to 2011.
