Former Hargreaves equities head joins Interactive Investor

Interactive Investor has appointed former Hargreaves Lansdown equities head Richard Hunter as head of markets.

Hunter worked at Hargreaves Lansdown from 2004-2016 before he left to join Wilson King Investment Management as head of research in April 2016. His departure from Hargreaves Lansdown coincided with the closure of the firm's London office. Prior to this he worked at Natwest Stockbrokers as executive director and head of the dealing services division for 16 years.  Hunter joins Interactive Investor as the firm looks to capitalise on its position as the UK's second-largest online stockbroker.
