The board of the £3.6bn Foreign & Colonial investment trust is keen to make contact with anyone who has worked on the vehicle as it prepares to celebrate its 150-year anniversary next year.

A campaign to find these individuals will start soon in Investment Week, so please keep your eye out for further details on joining the alumni network. Launched in 1868, Foreign and Colonial was the first ever investment trust, unveiled with the aim of bringing the benefits of stockmarket investing to ordinary men and women. During its lifetime, it has only had 11 fund managers (see below). The trust received a Special Recognition accolade at the recent Investment Company of the Year Awards 2017.
