Sanlam UK appoints distribution head for adviser push

Sanlam UK has hired John Pyburn as head of UK distribution, as the firm expands its presence in the adviser market.

Pyburn joins from Just Retirement where he was director of intermediary sales for eight years. Prior to this, he worked at State Street Global Advisors and Canada Life. He will start on 13 September and report to Kay Hylton, head of nationals and networks at Sanlam UK. Sanlam UK recently integrated its businesses, which the firm hopes will give increased opportunities in the financial adviser market.
