Jupiter launches second EMD fund for Arevalo

Jupiter has expanded its emerging market debt (EMD) offering with the launch of the Global Emerging Markets Short Duration Bond fund, a second fund to be managed by Alejandro Arevalo.

The fund will invest primarily in short duration bonds exposed directly or indirectly to EM economies keeping the average duration of the fund under three years. Adopting a total return approach, the fund has the flexibility to allocate between sovereigns, corporates and local currency. A sub-fund of the Jupiter Global fund SICAV, it will combine top-down and bottom-up insights identifying long-term opportunities that could benefit from a macro or company perspective.
