Pictet hires total return equities head from hedge fund firm

Pictet Asset Management has appointed Doc Horn from hedge fund manager UBS O'Connor as head of total return equities.

Horn spent 11 years at the hedge fund firm, heading up the investment team and managing long/short equity portfolios. Based in London, he joined the group on 1 July and will be responsible for overseeing seven equity long/short teams in London, Geneva, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong.
