Albion rebrands business; brings recently acquired OLIM fund to retail market

VCT specialist Albion Ventures has rebranded as Albion Capital as it expands its fund range outside the early-stage start-up space, bringing its recently acquired UK equity income fund to the retail market.

The group acquired OLIM Investment Management in September 2016, along with the firm's SVS Albion OLIM UK Equity Income fund, which is now available for UK retail investors. Previously named Close OLIM UK Equity Income, the £13m fund is co-managed by Angela Lascelles, Simon Jaffe and Andrew Impey. Prior to Albion's rebrand, it was only available to high-net-worth private clients, but now targets a broader base of retail investors.
