Russell Investments appoints head of EMEA from iShares

Russell Investments has appointed former managing director of iShares EMEA, Joseph Linhares as head of EMEA.

Linhares joins from BlackRock where he spent 16 years at the firm in a number of roles including global head of platinum accounts and US held of iShares distribution. He has also held roles at Citibank and JP Morgan. At BlackRock, he was responsible for driving the growth of iShares and was also a member of the firm's operating committee and retail global executive committee.
