Schroders' Parbrook to hand over $4bn Asian Opportunities fund as he relocates to London

Will continue to run Asian Total Return fund

Schroders' Robin Parbook is to pass sole management of the group's $4bn ISF Asian Opportunities fund to Toby Hudson in 2018, as he relocates from Hong Kong back to the UK.

From 1 May, Hudson, who has been a part of the Hong Kong team since 1995, will be made co-manager alongside Parbrook (pictured) on the Luxembourg-domiciled fund, before becoming sole manager on 1 January 2018. Schroders said this ensures an eight-month transition period. There will be no changes to the investment objective of the fund. Parbrook will return to the London office at the end of the year, and will continue to co-manage the group's $2.8bn Asian Total Return fund and Asian Total Return investment trust alongside King Fuei Lee.  Schroder Asian Total Return trust to reissue...
