IG launches suite of model portfolios in partnership with BlackRock

Online trading platform, IG Group has launched a range of model investment portfolios, employing asset allocation insights from BlackRock.

The firm said there will be no set-up, dealing, rebalancing or exit fees on the portfolios, with investors being charged a platform fee and the underlying portfolio costs. The platform also allows clients to use fractional shares of ETFs. Back in 2015, IG partnered with BlackRock to launch a range of ETF-based portfolios for its clients. Constructed using iShares ETFs, the five risk-rated portfolios are rebalanced and monitored by the firm's portfolio management team in order to respond to market conditions.
