Cohen & Steers is planning to launch two alternatives funds as the firm actively expands its European presence.

The firm, which specialises in liquid real assets and real estate, launched a commodities fund earlier this year. It is now looking to launch a hybrid securities fund for the European market in April, which will mirror a product already available in the US, and a diversified real assets fund later in the year.
